New property scheme in Norfolk revealed

Property development plans for a major housing expansion in Norfolk
were revealed last week.
On June 17th, developer Taylor Wimpey showed the proposals to build
112 houses for sale in Loddon near Norwich to the public at
the town's local library.
Plans had previously been rejected by South Norfolk Council last
year after it criticised the development scheme for not including
any affordable housing.
The new proposals will see a mixture of detached, semi-detached and
terraced houses and a village green being built on Beccles
Road.
Speaking to the Eastern Daily Press, one resident said: "It would
appear that all previous concerns have been addressed in the
revised layout. The whole scheme looks good."
In response to past concerns, 25 per cent of the houses will be
allocated as affordable homes, according to the newspaper.
Earlier this month, Taylor Wimpey announced a World Cup offer of a
£5,000 discount on the sale price of its new homes in Norfolk
if the England team win the tournament.
