Now is a "great time to sell"

The lack of available stock means that now could be "a great time
to sell", one property expert has asserted.
This is because each house currently stands to receive "a lot more
attention" from buyers, according to Jane Marr, company director at
the Little House Company, a service for private property
sellers.
Her comments follow the publication of research from Rightmove,
which revealed that house prices increased by 0.6 per cent in
September, although 29 per cent more properties left the market
than went on.
It also showed that average prices in the south-east and East
Anglia are 0.4 per cent and 1.5 per cent higher than a year
ago.
Meanwhile, last month's Land Registry House Price Index reported
that property prices in July increased by 1.7 per cent to
£155,885, with prices in London increasing by 1.6 per cent in
the month to £306,963, despite having fallen by 10.2 per cent
in the past year.
